Here at Access Pass & Design we have concerns about our impact on the environment. To address these concerns we have started a green initiative to reduce consumption and waste, increase our recycling, and use more environmentally friendly products such as lanyards made from recycled plastic bottles. Last year we recycled the equivalent of nineteen trees worth of office paper. However, there is much more to be done. So stay tuned for green updates.

| Current Practices... |
1. We recycle all cardboard, aluminum, glass, and recyclable plastics.
2. We recycle office paper (recycled paper in 2006 amounted to 19 full grown trees).
3. Press sheets are re-used.
4. We recycle all toner cartridges from office printers.
5. Heidelberg GTO uses soy-based inks.
6. Our shipping boxes are 30% post-consumer recycled paper.
7. We use recycled color Astrobright paper (30% post-consumer).
8. All internal copy paper is 100% post consumer recycled.
9. All internal colored paper is 30% post consumer recycled.
10. Use environmentally friendly household cleaners.
11. Recycled plastic bottle lanyards are an option.
12. NexPress
a) De-inkability of powdered toner allows for production of quality recycled papers.
b) All components of dry inks used by NexPress presses have been tested in extreme conditions to ensure that no harmful components are generated or released during manufacturing usage or disposal.
c) Cleaning agents are not needed for dry ink, which eliminates another potential source of emissions.
d) NexPress itself is made from recycled plastics.
e) Kodak ORC (operator replaceable components) program. Used components are sent back to Kodak for recycling and reclamation.
